The tractor-mounted round baler is used for picking up hay or straw, baling and wrapping with special twine (rope). The process of collecting and harvesting hay and wrapping it into bales is automated. When using hay baling with the help of a round baler, the quality of hay is increased, its loss is reduced in comparison with manual baling, and labour productivity is increased.
